Zolan Can't Draw.

So I'm not going to post my drawings in the artist corner. I've never been able to draw very well. I draw with makeup, and that is the only type that sort of turns out well. Can't upload, though, because it would gum up my scanner. So yeah.

Anyway, I guess I will just post pictures here. Photography is an art too, or else they wouldn't teach it at art schools, heh. I'm not very good yet, but I do love it. When I leave highschool, I will continue on to a college of art and design. This summer I think I'll be practicing more... so I guess this will be a thread of progression. I'll post all my pictures here; of me, friends (though most will be blurred or censored, just for their privacy), nature... and so forth.

So, since I haven't had a lot of time to run outside and take other kinds of photos, and since I was asked to post pictures of myself, I will post some of those...

I'm also a literature freak. Has anyone ever read Edgar Allan Poe's "The Gold-Bug"? Well, EAP lived in Charleston for a while when he served in the army, and they named that island "Goldbug Island" after that story, set in Charleston. I thought that was stinkin' awesome. So. I took a picture. (I hope some EAP junkie out there appreciates it as much as I do... lol!)

Amazing photography. I really enjoyed looking at these. Man nature looks better in pictures sometimes haha. Never realize how one glance can just remind you of the refreshing outdoors.
