lol you never know lol you could prove quite good. Besides most talent in anything is a dedication to keep making it. The only true problem with doing art is an artist will almost always go back and look at their art and find things wrong with it. Something is always too far from perfect in the creator's eye. It is the artists that see this and try what they can to fix it that are the artists that improve and become better. Afterall ppl can look down on or glorify your artwork but in the final choice the only one who will ever truely be able to judge your art is you in and of yourself. For example ppl seem to like my little two pages up there but as for me i like the close ups of the eye on the first page and the close ups around the mouths on both pages as well as some of the small amounts of shading/shadowing that i made. Other than that i think a lot of it looks very poor and sloppy, as if i just finished to have it done and not to have it captivate others. And in all flat out honesty that is most likely the reason it's done and here, the fact that i wanted it to be over and done with.
Oh and on a side note i am still from time to time dabbling in a more manga style art for one specific reason. I'd like to create one eventualy. Though i have one major issue. I seem to lack motivation and all together drive to get it into effect. As such i would like to find ppl with a promise of talent, doesn't have to be all that great since talent and art upgrades naturaly as the artists progress in the mangas usually. Anyway I am fair with backgrounds and actions but I personaly don't like most of mine. I'm more for scenary than an actual background of something for one major fact: I always seem to either under place items into the background or try to add enough things and overdo it, which winds up taking away from the overall picture and making it less enjoyable to the eye of the viewers. As for actions I prefer to see a body movement to allow me to more properly mimic such a pose that I'd need to sketch out for the action: leaping, punching, kicking, throwing, swinging, falling, et cetera.

well as u may know ppl have two halves of a brain...the one side (not sure which one, i think the left) controls their creative sides (music, art, poetry) and the other controls their thinking sides (superior intelect, faster learning..etc)... i have absolutely NOTHING on the left side...in other words i have a super developed right cortex...which dictates that im more of a "rocket scientist" then a "hippie artist" i lack any artistic skill, and im not ashamed to admit it...(mainly cus im very smart) allthough it may not seem like that i know 4 languages (learning japanese now, which will be the 5th), which i have never studied (only english in school, but i was supperior to my classmates, so i never went to class), all the others i have learned from TV (i do take japanese lessons now...hope i learn it) i have studdied vet. medicine (after the 11th grade a HATED IT), i studdied machine industy in college (hated it too, so i quit), i know more about PCs than some technician (that didnt stop me from blowing a brand new ATX power unit *sob*) i took the MENSA test and i had 135 (im not joking at all)...i still think i had 137...but nvm...they are the smart ppl...^^ and why am i writing this u ask...no no...not to brag or anything...i just wanted to beat your enourmous post ^^ (its just the kind of guy i am ^^) EDIT : and since i DONT hate to admit defeat, i could beat your post so there...u win

um actualy what it is is that the left side of the brain is the logic side. Math, Science, Problem Solving and et cetera. The right side is the creative side. Art, Music, Development of new things, Story writing and et cetera. This is further exampled in the fact that many of the greatest artists and musical composers were left handed, since the sides of the brain control and manipulate the opposite sides of the body. This is not to say that if you're right handed you're not talented in these things, especialy when many people have since the 1600s trained their societies and families to be right handed. DiVinci learned to become ambidextrous b/c in his time being left handed was considered a sign of being evil. It was so much hammered into ppls minds that left handed was a sin that sometimes natural born left handed children would have their left hands broken by their parents so that the child was forced to use their right hand. This was likely due to 2 things. The person in charge of this idea was a righty and used the left side of his brain to the point that he couldn't the natural creativity and open mindedness that is stereotyped within those who are predominantly right cortex minded and thought their naturaly gifted talent was attributed to being possesed by some form of demon, and the other thing was that as a stereotype of left cortex mind dominance logic was the key use of the mind and at that time logic was that anything that was different or creative (in a sense of how some artists portrayed the lesser of pleasent things, such as demons, sinful acts, et cetera) was most likely evil. Well i guess that's mostly what all i had to say but oh well... All i know is i'm well balanced b/c i'm very imaginative and artistic and also great with math and problem solving/analyzing.
