hey dusti! this website has a recipe for an old-fashioned chocolate cake..i'm not sure so much on how to bake, but i think this may be what you're looking for! if i knew how to bake, i would be able to explain it to you, but i hope this link is helpful to you on how to make one! there is also a search bar to the left of the page that allows you to search for various recipes! if this one isn't clear, i can look for another also, the 2nd link leads you to another website called about.com that i like very much! and this very last one is one to a favorite website of mine called wikipedia.org. when you click on the link, there will be displayed on the page somewhere that says "how to make a chocolate cake." clicking on that will direct you to a website that shows various ways to make it, including just a plain cake like the previous links
