Hey everyone!
I'm hoping a bunch of you know me already--I'm Phantom, 23, I play too many video games.
A month or two ago my internet service got cut, and I didn't exactly have the funds to restore it. Being as the area I live in A.) Doesn't provide wi-fi for anyone without a laptop (Like Starbucks, and I doubt they'd let me lug in my desker), B.) Doesn't have but a single cyber-cafe (Open only at night, as it's a bar), and C.) What few places allow you to use their systems to play MMORPGs never have RO avaible, I wasn't really able to let anyone know.
So, now you know. Sorry I disappered, I really didn't intend to!
The majority of my in-game friends are in Bloodline, though I ran my own (pathetic) guild, consisting of only myself, I often came on quests, hunts, etc.
The thing is, I went to log in to Rajie and found a significant decrease in players, and not a single friend online. I'm currently trying to get my RO to work again, as I updated and am still getting errors that crash the game, and for whatever reason, I'm not able to access the website or find a site that claims to be Raije that works.
I came across your poll asking if you guys wanted to migrate to Legacy, and I'm working on downloading it now (I have the lite package, but I'm not sure how to make it work. . .I've had other lite packages that've worked with the other packages I've gotten for other servers, but it seems Legacy isn't going to be as simple.) I'm hoping someone here can maybe help me install this (Luke?!) and get my game on. Or fix Raije, since, well, I'm not sure if I want to move--but it seems everyone else has and I have little choice!
I mean, playing solo is fun. But not THAT fun.
So. If anyone can provide me with links for Legacy's install process (The link on the site sends me in a circle to the same page, though I've signed up), or whereever Raije is hiding, please do!
Is there a big reason I've missed for switching? I know a few people (Don't remember who) didn't like the GMs, of which I can understand (A Google of the server reveals many other people who've had bad run-in's with the GM's--Something that's pretty rare to turn up in a search, I think.) However, I'm pretty hesitant to give up my paladin, blacksmith, etc. . .
Just send me a reply, and to those who thought I just took off: Sorry, I didn't mean to seem like a jerk! I had Trudy's e-mail, but subsequently lost the address, and local places like the library forbid using AIM with the threat of being banned. So if Koroko-chan, Luke, Trudy, Brahms, etc. see this, sorry guys! I really am! Seriously--I wasn't trying to ditch, I'm just poor.
