Hey guys, in between looking for a job and applying I've spent alot of time playing single player games. One that has caught my eye was Battleship Forever!
Basically Battleship Forever! is a free space combat RTS in which you can create your own ships, modify the weapons and shields and play them in game.
The different modes that come with the 11mb download is:
-Career Mode
Basically playing through the games story. But this could be considered one gigantic tutorial you can play through in an hour or two.
-Skirmish
1. Raid - Attack merchants and their guards for phat lewt
2. Grinder - Protect a space station from 20 waves of enemies!
3. Blockade - The opposite of raid, protect the merchants for great justice!
4.Sandbox - Blank map, ability to summon up any ship you want. You do the math.
Also I can try and fail to describe how pretty this game looks when you play it so I'll give you guys a play by play of this sand box game I played with some custom ships I created.

The Altair is eating up the Fafnir.
Just the Altair's fleet remains against the Ragnarok
No amount of fire is getting through that shield. Go Hawk Go!
Flanked and now his backside is exposed to a broadside from the Altair. God that sounded dirty
